First of all let me say a long overdue THANK YOU for the work you put into the website.
I can't tell you how happy it makes me each time I receive an update.  It always makes me
feel close to everyone even though the distance between us is so great.  It's about time that
I offer some valuable contribution and hence this e-mail.

My biggest news is that I am getting married on the 3rd of August 2001.  It is going to be a very 
low key affair at the Office of Registry.  My fiance is Rodney Anderson who is originally 
from the South Island in New Zealand.  We met on the minesite where we both work.  The
good news is that we are planning to come to Oma's birthday/the family reunion next year 
and I can't wait to meet some of the more recent additions to the clan, and for everyone 
to meet Rodney.

I will be heading back up to the minesite on the afternoon flight on Friday the 20th of July.
We have bought a house and I need to go learn how to operate the air-conditioner and 
alarm system.  We don't have regular access to e-mail up on site as we both work in the pit,
but we are back in Perth on the 1st of August for 7 days, so will catch up again then.
